Gondwana Marketing (Pty) Ltd was established in 2003 as the processing facility for fully owned Ostrich Farms in Limpopo and the Southern Cape Provinces in South Africa. Gondwana Marketing also owns an EU registered abattoir that is Halaal Certified that acts as a processing facility for ecologically sustainable game farms in the area, processes the Ostriches from our Ostrich Farms and has a deboning facility for export quality Beef. We also produce various types of biltong and are fully EU accredited.
Our Ostriches are genetically selected and bred to supply the highest quality bird possible. Meat products are supplied to top retailers within South Africa and exported to selected European markets.
Our breeding pairs are kept in the Southern Cape, where the chicks are hatched and later air freighted, north to our farm in Limpopo.
Unlike many farms, our stock is not put out to range wild, without supplementary feeding. Our flocks are hand-fed nutritionally superior foods to ensure fast, healthy and even growth. They have the freedom to roam very large areas, and the freedom to feed on natural plant materials, as well as their supplementary foods.
Our Ostrich Farm is run in an ecologically sustainable fashion and supplies job opportunities in an economically depressed area.

Ostrich skin is known world-wide as the pinnacle of fashion, giving outstanding durability alongside 5-star looks.
High fashion, luxury goods are hand manufactured from the skins processed at our facility. Only the best hides are used to produce an exceptional quality product in these manufacturing facilities. Products are hand picked for export. In-house designers research the market and produce design excellence maintaining the functionality of the product at all times.
